The Center for Media and Democracy (CMD) obtained Rule of Law Endowment’s 1023 tax-exempt application from the Internal Revenue Service. The Rule of Law Endowment received tax-exempt status from the IRS on Feb. 10, 2021, retroactive to Dec. 15, 2020, and operates out of the same office and with the same staff as the Republican Attorneys General Association.
