The Center for Media and Democracy obtained this list of the members of ALEC’s 50th Anniversary Gala Host Committee. The event held on October 4, 2023 at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. lists Ambassador Terry Branstad as “gala general chair” and former Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Vice President Mike Pence, and Arthur B. Laffer as “honorary gala hosts.”
